Victoria House, barefoot elegance in front of Belize Barrier Reef

Award-winning Victoria House is known for Its stunning beachfront location and is located on Ambergris Caye, also known as the Island in Madonna’s song: La Isla Bonita. The island is near to one of the world’s most natural treasures: the beautiful Belize Barrier Reef.

Styled in a Caribbean colonial theme, the resort is set amongst coconut palms and a snow-white beach, creating a place for relaxation and indulgence. It is a great place for snorkelling, scuba diving and soaking up the Caribbean sunshine.

Because the 20 buildings fan out around a central lawn, with two pools on opposite ends of the grounds, Victoria House never feels full.

They are situated in a lush, tropical setting, complete with tall, swaying palms and stunning views of the white-sand beach and azure sea or the colourful gardens.

Villa Bonita
We sleep in Villa Bonita, an exquisite two large master bedroom villa sideways to a spacious well-designed living room.

This private getaway offers several are activities and spa indulgences. There is a fitness centre and an open space courtyard for yoga in the back garden where they have more than 36 different treatments.

Spa
At 4 o’clock I have a deep tissue massage at the Spa. I can tell, it’s a good one, I was asked if I have an injury. No one has ever asked me this before I was getting a massage.
Covered with blankets, the woman of the Spa gives me a treatment from top to top, which I was extremely happy with:-) If you weren’t relaxed already, you were definitely relaxed at the end.My favourite place is the incredible almost snow white beach with hammocks between the palm trees with a view of the light azure sea. Lying down in my hammock, I’m fascinated by the shadows of the patterns of the palm trees. Lot’s of privacy here.Lunch/ dinner
The little breeze of the sea is making this experience a pleasant one, not too hot at all.
There are two restaurants on the property, the Palmilla and the Admiral Nelson’s Bar, both serve the same menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is no dress code.I enjoy my lime chicken soup for lunch. If you want some changes, San Pedro is close and there are plenty of alternative options for drinking and dining outside of the resort.You can also enjoy nature by helicopter:
